Who manages your life? Wally summarizes his thoughts about the differences between time management and energy management.

I like this. Maybe I’m missing the obvious, and I also have my own idea about why, but can you tell me why you call it ‘energy’ management?
Good question. We sometimes talk about time management–which is ironic for eternal beings. I figure that the big problem is not a shortage of time but a shortage of energy (interest, vitality, etc.). So I figure that when we let God guide our lives, we get the important things done. He gives us the energy and the guidance to use it.
Maybe there is a better name. Any suggestions?
I like to call it “Motivation Management” I always said that if I could come up with a motivation pill I could be the richest person on earth. Well, I think you have the pill right here. When we turn out life over to God motivation and energy flow. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and there are days that I don’t feel well but I am amazed what I can do anyway if I have prayed, read my scriptures and just let God move me to do amazing things because I knew I didn’t have it in myself. I saved an article about the preponderance of Mormon scientists in a study that has been done for years. Oh yes, spirituality is energizing.
Yep. Motivation management is a good name for it.
I enjoyed your observation. When we feel close to God, all things are possible. It is no wonder that Satan wants us to depend on ourselves. We aren’t very good at doing God’s work.
